MOM plus ME

 For Mom

Are you feeling like this mom thing is more than you expected? Are you looking for help with learning how to balance taking care of yourself and be a mom? Has your health changed and you are overwhelmed by managing life along and your own health? Are you struggling in the early years of motherhood and envision a different life for you and your family?

If the answer is yes, then you are in the right place. Schedule a 15-minute connection.

Approximately 75% of moms surveyed said that life management tasks and self-care were areas where they felt they needed more support.  In any other life event that drastically changes our physical body, view of life, and habits and routines we would be getting expert support to best take care of ourselves and to be successful in all areas of life.

MOM + Me can help you connect with the person you want to be and navigate pain, fatigue, and overwhelm.

If you're ready to get started, make a free 15-minute connection session.

When you welcome a child into your arms, to be their home, their caregiver, their provider, your world shifts, your identity changes––you become MOM. The changes can be subtle and you may not notice them all at once. As your child(ren) grow in that first year, gaining minute pieces of independence, you make sacrifices, change habits, routines, sometimes feeling as though you have lost your whole being, who you are or used to be.

Most moms navigate this transition and find their new normal months or years later. Moms who give birth go from weekly or daily support before birth to a handful of appointments after and the burden is placed on them to reach out for what they need. But what if they don’t know what they need? Moms who become a mother another way, adoption or fostering, also need support in navigating this transition.

In our fast-paced do it all and have it all society, some moms need much more support than they are getting.  Physical and mental injuries may go undiagnosed as moms put their children’s needs before their own. But there could be another way.

In many other countries, there is a higher level of health care for moms after a child comes into their home, be it nursing care, midwifery or some home aid.  I believe MOM + Me can join the women's health care team in providing support and preventative care for moms in their transition to MOM.
